Overview
This message appears when your eSIM is turned on but is not connected to a mobile network.
What does this mean?
Your eSIM is active, but your device is not receiving a signal or is not configured correctly for data usage.
Status Message:
Your eSIM is on, but there's no signal. Ensure Mobile Data is enabled and this eSIM is selected as primary data.
How to fix it
Check Mobile Data
iPhone
- Go to Settings > Cellular
- Ensure Cellular Data is turned on
Android
- Go to Settings > Network & Internet
Ensure Mobile Data is enabled
Select the eSIM for data
iPhone
- Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data
- Select the eSIM
Android
- Settings > SIM Manager
- Set the eSIM as the preferred SIM for data
Additional troubleshooting
- Toggle Airplane Mode on and off.
- Restart your device.
- Enable Data Roaming if travelling internationally.
- Manually select a supported network if required.
